Amerifinn Cleaning Services has built a reputation across East Tennessee as a trusted expert in residential and commercial cleaning. The company provides carpet cleaning, tile and grout restoration, upholstery cleaning, full floor care, and janitorial services for homes, offices, hotels, and businesses.
Using advanced truck-mounted steam cleaning systems, Amerifinn specializes in deep cleaning, tough stain removal, odor treatment, and ongoing maintenance. With more than 27 years of experience, the company continues to grow while staying rooted in family values and quality workmanship.
“The name Amerifinn reflects our family’s heritage, combining American and Finnish roots. We are a family-owned and operated business with over 27 years of experience in professional cleaning and flooring services,” said owner Tim Lepre. “From carpet cleaning and floor care to janitorial services, pressure cleaning, and flooring installation, we are committed to delivering quality work and exceptional customer service throughout East Tennessee.”
Lepre founded Amerifinn with a simple goal. He wanted to provide dependable service, build lasting relationships, and create a business his family could be proud of. “After 27 years, those same values still drive everything we do,” he noted.
Before entering the cleaning industry, Lepre spent 15 years in the culinary field. “I needed a way out, so one day I came home and told my wife I quit and I was starting a cleaning business. Of course she said oh my. The name Amerifinn reflects our family’s heritage and my two boys are Amerifinns,” Lepre said.
Lepre said the company’s culture is built on connection and pride in workmanship. “We strive for quality rather than quantity. We are not just employees. We are family.”
His outgoing personality has always helped him succeed. “I have always been a social butterfly. I love talking to people. There is personal satisfaction when I am done with a job and you see the results,” he said.
Two moments stand out as career highlights. “It would be hard to nail down just one, so here are two. When I landed the Supercuts contract with 72 locations and when I turned the business over to my son Aaron. He has run it ever since and done a fantastic job,” Lepre said.
While income is always a goal, family remains his greatest motivation. “Of course income and family, but I do not like to sit still,” he said. He credits his wife as the person who has influenced him the most.
Lepre said being active in the community and the local chamber is important for small businesses. “Being out there in the community and meeting other businesses in the chamber would benefit all members if we all utilize the services they provide for us. Let’s keep the money in the valley,” he added.
Amerifinn focuses on providing services that people truly need. “We are not just selling a product that you want. It is a service that is needed. If we wash our clothes after we wear them, why not wash the things we walk on every day,” Lepre said.
He appreciates the character of small-town life. “A small town community is more friendly and everybody knows everybody. You do not get lost in the big city,” he said.
Lepre said challenges are simply opportunities to grow. “I like to think challenges are an opportunity for growth, but making sure there is work in the slow months,” he said.
Over the years, he has learned that consistency matters. “I have learned that success comes from consistency, hard work, and building trust with your customers. Taking care of people and delivering quality work,” he said.
His long-term goal is to continue building on the foundation he created. “My goal is to apply the same quality of service that has worked for the last 27 years and build relationships rather than dangerous contracts with our customers. I want to leave a legacy for the next Amerifinns to come,” Lepre said.
Lepre said people are often surprised by how much the company accomplishes with a small team. “In the first five years of my business, I was always asked how many vans we had because people said they saw us everywhere. It was one, but a lot of hours not only in the van but in the office,” he said.
He describes Amerifinn in three words. Family, quality, dependability. The company motto is quality over quantity. A favorite service offered is carpet and tile restoration.
“We are family owned and operated and we do not want your business just one time. We want it all the time,” Lepre said.
