The Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of local area businessman, William Wells III, to the position of Monroe County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO.

William has been a Business, Technology and Marketing Consultant for the past 15 years.

Over the past six years, he has proven himself to be an active and dedicated member of this community by serving on a variety of boards and planning committees, as well as by donating his time and services to many area businesses and nonprofit organizations. These include Monroe County Habitat for Humanity, Monroe County Boys & Girls Club, Monroe County Friends of Animals, and the Coker Creek Economic Development Group.
 

As a resident of Coker Creek, William also serves as a Coker Creek Volunteer Fire Fighter.

He has worked very closely with the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce for the past five years and has a sincere love for Monroe County as well as a deep understanding of the strengths and the needs of this county and its communities.

William is looking forward to helping make the Chamber Of Commerce a more visible asset to the communities of Monroe County and the surrounding counties, and desires to make it become a stronger resource for area businesses, organizations and citizens.
